Will this be a good buy for use with a PS3. Needing to buy new tv for son's bedroom and he is buying himself a PS3 later this year and I'm sure I read somewhere that HD is better for the PS3??

Having already bought 19 inch - decided too big for the kitchen - so gained a freeview TV for bedroom and went back to try 15 inch too. Both TV's arrived in 2 days and extremely well packaged. Easy to load - even for IT moron like me. Currently both also working very well with cheap and cheerful internal aerials. I live on the coast in Hants. Picture and sound quality great for smaller TV's

I agree with the other reviewers about how good this TV is, so I will concentrate on the small amount of negative stuff.

The digital guide (EPG) is able to show all of what's on for the following 6 days, but for 'Today' it only shows what's on now and next. Also you can't find out what's on another channel without actually changing to that channel.

When you create and use a 'Favourites' list it re-numbers the channels so the number buttons now relate to your list instead of the real channel number.

If you have a DVD player or similar connected to the scart input, you would expect the TV to auto-switch to DVD when the DVD player is turned on. This does indeed happen BUT only when TV is on analogue. I assume this TV was originally designed as 'analogue only' and the digital tuner is being treated as an external source which auto-switching can't override.

Hopefully some or all of these minor issues will be rectified by a software update, as the current software (found in: menu/DTV/configuration/system parameters/system information)is dated 17/09/2007 (at least in my TV) and so probably due for an update.

Overall though, to get a quality set with freeview and widescreen at this price is excellent.

got this after reading reviews of other users to replace analog tv in bedroom what a loverly piece of equipment this is robust well made and an absolute doddle to setup and the picture quality is 100per cent well done polaroid
