2 out of 5 stars Noisy DVD   November 22, 2007

Bought one of these to enhance our newly refurbished bedroom. Carefully dismantled the base stand and set the TV on a wall bracket. It looked great. Tuned the set in and behold, a fantastic picture. I was delighted and so was my wife!
Then I tried the DVD player.....The motor was so noisy that, at low volume, it was still clearly audible. Surely that's not right.
I am returning this item as faulty, but is it? Do I dare buy another only to find that they are all the same. They are now listing the same set but with freeview. I'd really like one of those but....
