I've had one of these for about 18 months now, and it makes a nice reliable PC monitor, and an acceptable video monitor (using it for various video sources). Picture quality is good, and the panel is of a good quality for the price (I've grown one dead pixel at about the 9 month mark, but the thing has moved around a bit).

The TV Tuner is nothing to write home about (it all works, but it seems to need a much higher signal strength than my other tuners) but assuming you are using some form of STB, that's unlikely to be a problem.

Component inputs work well, but only as interlaced, so this is technically NOT a HD monitor (can only do 576i maximum) nor is it capable of displaying progressive scan video (it can, of course, display a progressive VGA signal, but it wouldn't be a PC monitor if it couldn't).

The sound side is a bit weedy, but fine for desktop audio use, for TV use, you're going to need a proper amp unless you sit very close to the screen.

One niggle, the device switches on with the OSD enabled, and there is no way to disable this, so you need to press a button on the remote to turn off the OSD every single time you turn on the screen, unless you want AV1/CVBS tatooed forever in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

Overall, a reasonable device for the price, but make sure you don't want it to do something it cannot do!
