Spooks is back on top form in series 7. Richard Armitage takes a great part as Lucas North, the spy returned from years in a Russian prison. Once again, you are kept guessing as to who can be trusted, and nothing is ever quite what it seems.
Fans of previous series will realise that just because you're one of the leads in Spooks, it doesn't mean you're safe. This adds to the tension as you're never quite sure who will live and who will die.
With storylines ranging from nuclear attacks on London to the financial collapse of major banks, Spooks is action-packed and tense, but never so implausible as to spoil the story.
Definitely recommended.

Well what can i say, besides being a huge fan of the show it keeps going from strength to strength! Again like series 6 there is a theme thoroughout the story lines and it is unpredictable as ever to who will live and who will die. It was sad to see 3 characters go but you always promise that Spooks will always reinvent itself.

Keep up the good work Kudos, Spooks should get more TV awards! Now i have to wait until season 8 next year, i cannot wait!

I was uncertain about watching the first episode of series 7 after joining series 6 half way through... how i haven't regretted it!

8 hour long episodes of gripping drama that keeps you constantly thinking throughout and for a short time of the year looking forward to Mondays! The death of Adam was a shame but the Russian twist with Lucas North more than held its own; and the introduction of operation sugarhorse provided subtle yet hugely relevant links between episodes which ensured i kept on watching.

Once again the climax of the last episode left me reeling at the fact i have to wait almost a year to engage myself in this again.... bring on series 8!!

Spooks - Series 7 [2008]

I was sad to see Rupert Penry-Jones bow out at the start of the series as I have been a fan of the show for some time, but this really has been a great season so far. Richard Armitage stepped in nicely as the new male lead, Lucas North. He has shown his fantastic range and talent through out series 7.

Harry Pearce has been the glue holding the team together again this season, I hope the show never has to do without him. Jemma Jones did a credible performance as Connie James and was chilling in her coldness.

There have been two deaths this season, one shocking and one not so much. The second death is not for the faint hearted and almost rivals the deep fat fryer in its brutality.
